LI2DayWalk Event - Shoreham
It's no secret that Long Island has a high rate of breast cancer with 1 in 9 women being diagnosed with this dreadful and all too common disease. Research is important and LI2DAY does support local breast cancer research however, LI2DAY's focus is on the battle that goes on every day for the women, men and families affected by breast cancer. Since LI2DAY's inception in 2004, the not-for-profit has raised NEARLY $4 MILLION DOLLARS! In Shoreham it is Linda Winter with the help of some good friends and neighbors that have taken the initiative to raise $13,300 including the bread sale last weekend and yesterday's event at the Shoreham Village Club where a chinese auction and 50/50 helped achieve success!
